How Did Wu Yi Tea Start?
Wu Yi Tea has been huge in the news and is a very popular form of weight loss tea, but where and how did it actually start? We know that it is derived from China, but the owner of Wu Yi Tea is from the United States.
Michael Taiji first got the idea for Wu Yi Tea when he visited Chinatown in New York City over 15 years ago. He visited a tea shop and saw the hundreds of different forms of tea that the Chinese provided. He wondered if there was a way to take these teas that claim to help lose weight, and actually find a tea that is solely responsible for burning fat.
Michael went to China and learned more about all the different types of tea and what chemicals were responsible for doing what. He found out that green tea was the best of all these types of tea and was loaded with the fat loss chemical polyphenols that we are always talking about. Michael found a way to add polyphenols to green tea by mixing green tea with the wu yi tea leaf. Voila, Wu Yi tea was formed and is now the most popular weight loss tea in the world.
